Epps is a family company established back in 1841 and presently managed by the fourth generation of the Epps family.

The company operates in three divisions. The projects division manages larger contracts of up to £5 million, while the general works division looks after projects valued from £3,000 up to around £500,000. CK Joinery, meanwhile, provides bespoke high-class joinery for a range of discerning customers.


The majority of our Clients are commercial or public bodies initiating work in the residential, community, health and education sectors. In recent years the mainstream of their activity has been in the provision of affordable housing, the construction of village halls and community centres, large extensions to and refurbishment of schools and colleges, working for the Kent Police and the Diocese of Canterbury.

Contracts range from partnering and design and build through to traditional and an increasing number of negotiated projects. Their Clients appreciate Epps straightforward constructive and helpful approach that is flexible, versatile and innovative.

Within the Epps Group of companies they also provide logistic haulage services with the capability of a 60T capacity HIAB and low-loader that can move cabins and similar bulky goods, a maintenance facility for private and commercial vehicles, a bespoke joinery manufacturing workshop and an electrical division.
